![]() ![]() I also forgot to use baby powder prior to waxing but didn't have any issues. I only melted a small amount of wax and was able to do both underarms with thick layers of wax and still have some leftover. But with more experience, I should be able to do this faster and better. ![]() I I didn't fully wax it because I ran out of time and had to take care of the baby. The wax did a pretty good job at pulling majority of the hair out. If I was more experienced, the wax would not have left any residue, but since I'm not, any leftover wax was easily removed with a tiny bit of coconut oil. There were a couple drops of blood but nothing major. The wax cooled quickly and it pulled off the skin easily. Since this was my first time using hard wax and waxing my underarms, I used small amounts and did small sections. So I put it on the warming plate and eventually the wax melted just fine and the jar cooled down enough to handle. Initially, I microwaved the wax for about 2 mins in 30 second intervals which softened the wax but didn't melt it but it made the glass jar very hot to handle. Watching reviews, a lot of people complained that the wax cooled too quickly so I used a wax warming plate and that helped keep the wax melted. I used an empty glass jelly container instead of the silicone cup they recommend. I have used soft wax before but only on my legs. I picked up the Wakse hard wax from Ulta's fall haul sale. TMI alert: waxing underarms! I tried waxing my underarms by myself for the first time. ![]()
